Lesson 1.3 — One myth retired

Lesson 2.2 — Feeding: modest N, real P... and the boron rule

  • Sunflower forages nutrients deep and wide, so it flatters poor soils — but responds honestly to manure ploughed in and a P-strong basal at planting, plus a light N top-dress at knee height. Heavy N grows stems that lodge and delays maturity.
  • Boron is sunflower's signature micronutrient. Lesson 4.3 — Insects worth knowing
