🎒 What you need
- a partner
- paper or cardboard and a pen
- twenty minutes
- the phone once, to check pronunciation
✋ Do this
- Write your own five lines out by hand, joined, right to left, with your real name and your real home. Take your time with the joins — this is the piece of work the whole course was building towards.
- Check every ع, ح and ق once against the audio, then put the phone away.
- Stand up and say all five lines aloud five times without looking at your paper.
- Deliver the introduction to a real person, face to face. Greet with أهلا وسهلا, run all five lines, and do not switch languages.
- Hand them the paper you wrote by hand. Let them look at it while you read it aloud, pointing right to left.
- Finish with شكرا جزيلا and مع السلامة.
💡 Why it works
Writing by hand and speaking aloud in the same session uses two different memory systems on the same content, which is why the pairing holds so well. Handing somebody something you wrote in a script you could not read eight modules ago is also the clearest possible evidence of what you have done.
