👤 customer → 📦 offer → 🏷️ price → 💵 margin
🎒 What you need
- notebook
- pen
- ruler
✋ Do this
- Pick the top idea from your shortlist and write the one sentence: 'I help ___ to ___ for ___.' Rewrite it until it fits on one line.
- Draw four boxes and fill them. CUSTOMER: exactly who, not 'everyone'. OFFER: exactly what they receive. PRICE: a real number in your currency. COST: what you spend to deliver one.
- Work out your margin: price minus cost. Write it big. If it is tiny or negative, change the price or change the offer — do not just hope.
- List the three most likely objections a customer will give you: too expensive, I can do it myself, I do not know you. Write one honest answer to each.
- Draw a simple poster of your offer by hand — name, what you do, price, how to reach you. This is your first marketing material and it cost nothing.
- Show the poster and the one sentence to two adults. Note every question they ask; questions show you what is missing.
💡 Why it works
Margin is the whole game. Plenty of busy young sellers work all week and end up with less than they started because the price never covered the cost and their time. Writing customer, offer, price and cost in four boxes forces the arithmetic out into the open before you have promised anything to anyone.
🔥 Challenge
Say your one sentence to someone in under six seconds and have them understand it.
