✋ Do this

Rule your ledger: DATE, CUSTOMER, JOB, MONEY IN, COST, LEFT. Every job gets a line, on the day it happens, even the ones that go badly.
Announce properly: a WhatsApp status and a message to two community or church groups your adult belongs to, with your name, what you do, your prices and how to reach you.
Serve at least three customers this week. Write every line in the ledger as it happens, not from memory on Sunday.
Every evening add up MONEY IN and COST for the day and write LEFT at the bottom. Say the number aloud so it stops being abstract.
At the end of the week split your profit into four named parts and write the amounts in your notebook: restock what you used, save, a share for family or school fees, and a small share for you. Decide the shares before the money arrives, never after.
Look down your ledger and answer two questions in writing: which job type earns me the most per hour, and which customer should I go back to first next week?

💡 Why it works

A ledger written on the day is the difference between a business and a hobby that occasionally has money in it. Those six columns let you see which jobs are actually worth your hours and which customer is quietly your best one. Splitting profit into named parts before it arrives is the habit that keeps a small enterprise alive past its first good week.
