✋ Do this

Write К М Т А О very large in the sand, far apart. Say each sound as you write it: k, m, t, a, o.
Now build a word. Write К О Т left to right. Read it out: k-o-t. кот. That means cat. You just read Russian.
Build М А М А. Read it out: mama. Yes — it means exactly what it sounds like.
Build Т А М. tam. It means 'there'. Point at something far away and say it: там!
Leave all three words written in the sand and bring someone to look. Read all three aloud to them, pointing letter by letter.
Say кот every time you see a cat today.

💡 Why it works

Starting with the letters that transfer for free gives you real reading on day one instead of week three. Reading a whole genuine word out loud in the first ten minutes is what convinces your brain this alphabet is crackable.
